Kipling Monkey

   

This shoulder bag is one of the oldest from my surviving East Coast collection. It's the Kipling Pecan Ziptop Expand Bag. And just like the name says, it expands.

There's a zipper that goes all the way around on the sides, which you can unzip to add more room. I've used that a number of times, when I've had to stuff an autumn blazer, or a winter scarf, into my purse in a jiffy.

I did a poor job of showing more details of each bag from the collection photo shoot - partly because I was sweating my balls off outdoors, in the hot and humid Houston afternoon (the same suffering I've experienced during the numerous Kipling monkey shoots), and I just wanted to get it done, so I could get back in the air-conditioned house. Also, partly because I was quickly losing the sunlight.

I haven't seen anything like the Kipling Pecan online, so I'm not sure, if the style has been discontinued. Or, if it's possibly available overseas.
