Gone bananas over Kipling!
Operation Recovery by Import & Merge was a Success!
Several months ago I canceled my extra, unnecessary user accounts on Posterous. Unfortunately, any and all associated blog posts were killed along with the original user accounts (authors). Consequently, about half of the Kipling Monkey posts - some of which had generated heavy traffic and some feedbacks - were lost forever. I think this might have contributed to my absence here.
I've always meant to recover those lost entries by importing the very same Posterous-generated articles that were published to an external site - in this case, Wordpress. But, I just now got to this task. Thankfully, the import and merge process worked well enough. Now I have finally recovered those long-ago lost Kipling Monkey blog posts back to http://kiplingmonkey.com. This makes me happy.

Posterous inadvertently deleted some of my older Kipling Monkey entries. Those should still be available at WordPress or Xanga.
